Classic Legends, owned by the Mahindra Group, had recently acquired the rights to sell Czech-basedJawain India. These rights entitle Classic Legends to create, brand and sell motorcycles under the brand name of “Jawa” in India. While Jawa had managed to hit a cord with the Indian generations in the past in the way of Yezdi, is all set to make a comeback.

Jawa Motorcycles India has recently launched a completely new range of 300cc high performance motorcycles in India. During the launch event, organised amongst much fan fare, by Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., three variants were introduced: –

  • Jawa
  • Jawa 42
  • Perak

While Jawa and Jawa 42 have been launched with superior specifications, Perak would be launched later and would be a unique custom-made factory motorcycle. These Jawa motorcycle 300 will be sold in India by Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. while the entire research and development as well as production would be carried out by Mahindra.

First Look

Thanks to the teasers as well as numerous spy shots doing the rounds on social media, we got an idea regarding the possible appearance of the Jawa. The launch event confirmed all speculations that the Jawa Motorcycle sports an identical appearance like the original offering in 1970’s.
